IT’S TIME TO SPREAD SOME LOVE
On a recent walk, the letters spelling “LOVE” on a curbside a few blocks from my home made me stop and walk backwards to take a closer look. Small whimsical characters and figurines were thoughtfully placed in this precious “forest.” I took my time looking at each and every one with the joy of a child. The moment was magical. Someone took a lot of time to do this random act of kindness for the enjoyment of passersby. Then today, I came across a simple poem that is so fitting for this Garden of Love.
Kind hearts are the gardens,
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the flowers,
Kind deeds are the fruits.
Take care of your garden
And keep out the weeds,
Fill it with sunshine
Kind words and kind deeds.
